Boy, do I love Guacamole! Now that we have proper avocados in Rimi, I can make my own and don't have to wait for the next time I happen to go to South- or Central-America to have some. In that case I'd just have to give up on the dream of having some of the delicious guacamole any time soon. Anyhow, it's easy to make and good for you as well! I've come to realise that lime is the key ingredient so don't hold back on that.
4–5 ripe avocados
1–1,5 juicy limes
1 tomato, diced
0,5 (red) onion, chopped
some cilantro (koriander)
salt and pepperPeel the avocados, remove their pits and put them in a bowl. Smash them a bit with a fork, then add the lime juice and smash some more. The juice makes it easier. Then add all the other ingredients, season with salt and pepper and dig in! Eat it with nachos or whatever you like. It makes a great sauce on anything.

Maitsta ma seda ei saanud, aga ma ei saanud cilantro'st aru, niisiis otsisin, et osades kohtades seda kasutatakse netisreteptides küll , aga mitte eesti-inglise sõnaraamatutes. Coriander toimib ju küll. Või on need eri asjad? (Aa, cilantro on hispaania keeles, va kaval rebane :P. Siin on ammendav jutt: http://www.uni-graz.at/~katzer/engl/Cori_sat.html). Muidu väga noobel, saad teinekord poppi kraami veel rohkem teha :D

Ma ühest kohast leidsin sellise jutu: The seed of the cilantro plant is known as coriander. Although cilantro and coriander come from the same plant, their flavors are very different and cannot be substituted for each other. (Some countries refer to the cilantro as coriander, so any references to "fresh coriander" or "coriander leaves" refer to cilantro.)
See ei olnud tegelikult vaidlemiseks mõeldud, ma lihtsalt leidsin selle. Muidu jah sain sellest maitseainest Guatemalas teada ja siis jäi see cilantro. Tavaliselt ma seda eriti ei kasuta, üsna seebi maitsega mu meelest:P
